Temecula Hosting 'Active Shooter, Gun Safety' Training

TEMECULA, CA — Temecula residents are invited to a free community training aimed at keeping us all safe. The city is hosting an 'active shooter training and gun safety information' course in partnership with the Riverside County Sheriff's Department this week.

The course is set for Thursday, Sept. 26 at the Mary Phillips Senior Center, which is located at 41845 Sixth Street. It will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Though there is no cost to attend, you must RSVP for a spot. As of Tuesday, there were approximately 30 slots left, according to a city email. Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
