Temecula Hosting Free Citywide Cleanup Event
Have old, bulky items you need to trash? What about old batteries? Now's the time for some Spring cleaning!

TEMECULA, CA — The city of Temecula is planning a cleanup event, open to all residents, to dispose of household waste and large miscellaneous debris. The event is slated for Sat., May 11, at Chaparral High School.
The cleanup starts at 8 a.m. and runs until 2 p.m. If you're planning on dropping items off, be prepared to show proof of Temecula residency such as a California Driver’s License, California ID Card, recent utility bill, or property tax statement.
Items that you can dispose of at the event include:

- Large Bulky Items
- Green Waste
- Motor Oil
- Anti-Freeze
- E-Waste (Household Electronics)
- Car Batteries (two per resident, per visit)
- Small (empty) Gas Operated Equipment
The following items will NOT be accepted:
- Household Batteries
- Chemicals
- Empty Drums
- Fluorescent Light Bulbs
- Any Type of Paint
- Pesticides
- Thermostats
- Solvents/Gasoline
- Sharps/Needles
- Tires
- Other hazardous waste
