Temecula Man Seriously Injured in Crash at Butterfield Stage, Pauba Roads

A 23-year-old Temecula man suffered serious injuries Saturday in a car crash at the intersection of Butterfield Stage and Pauba roads, police said.

The accident involving two vehicles was reported at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Temecula police Sgt. Dean Spivacke said in a news release.

The injured man was transported to a local hospital.

The other driver, a 19-year-old woman from Texas, was not injured, according to Spivacke.

The accident remained under investigation as of Saturday evening; police did not believe alcohol or drugs were factors.
