Temecula Mom Gives Her All To Her Children

TEMECULA, CA— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

This submission comes from Adelina Sanchez who nominated Taresa Sanchez of Temecula.

What makes your mom extra special?

My mom has supported all three of my siblings through anything we pursued. My mom gave up her career to be a full-time caregiver to my younger brother with ASD. She has always put the ones she loves above herself. She is a kind, strong, and loving woman. Thanks to my mom, I am graduating with my first college degree at the end of May and then will be attending Cal State San Marcos in the fall. I am the first in my family to attend college.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

Because she has put her all into being an amazing mother. In my journey as a student and my own journey as a mother, I wouldn’t be where I am today without my mom.
