The City of Temecula scheduled a remembrance ceremony Friday night to reflect on the 26 lives lost in the Dec. 14 Newtown, Conn., shooting.
The city invited residents of Temecula and surrounding areas to join Mayor Chuck Washington and Mayor Pro-Tem Mike Naggar at the somber event.
The gathering began at 6:30 p.m. in the Civic Center Quad, 41000 Main St.
