Temecula Shooting Victim Aaron Bowers Mourned By Family, Friends
Aaron Bowers was shot and killed in Temecula over the weekend, and now his loved ones seek answers and support.

TEMECULA, CA — Aaron Bowers was shot and killed in Temecula early Saturday, the Riverside County Sheriff's Coroner's Bureau confirmed Monday. Now, his family is seeking assistance with funeral and burial arrangements as they deal with the senseless killing.
Kristina Lindsey, sister to Bowers, reached out to Patch to share about his loss.
"He was a passionate father, chef, and artist who had a contagious laugh and smile," Lindsey said. He is survived by his children, parents, and siblings.

"We are working to raise funds for the funeral and burial arrangements for my brother," she told Patch. "Any additional proceeds will go directly to his children.
Already, nearly $6,000 has been raised, according to the GoFundMe established in Bowers' name.

"Please pray for Aaron, his children, his parents, and all others who are grieving," she said over the GoFundMe post."Once finalized, we will make known the date and time of the funeral arrangements for those who would like to pay their respects."
The family asks for privacy while the homicide is still under investigation.
On Saturday, just after 5 a.m., an arrest was made at the home on the 32900 block of Josheroo Court in Temecula. Bowers's body was found inside the home, according to the sheriff's department.

The shooting suspect, identified as Micah Harris, also of Temecula, remains behind bars on $1 million bail.
