Temecula Valley Museum, Community Services Dep't Host Black History Celebration

From Temecula Valley Museum, Temecula Community Services Department: The Temecula Valley Museum and the City of Temecula’s Community Services Department will host A Celebration of American Black History featuring a variety of music, dance, and spoken word performers on Friday, February

24, 2017, in The Merc (42051 Main Street, Temecula). There will be two ticketed performances (7:00 pm and 9:00 pm). Tickets are on sale for $12 at www.TemeculaTheater.org or by calling 1 (866) 653-8696.

• Darryl Williams Multi-talented bassist/composer who has toured and performed with many of the top Smooth Jazz and R&B artists of today. Erin Stevenson R&B performing and recording artist and a background singer for many famous artists, including Justin Timberlake and Duran Duran.
• Valerie Pierce Singer/songwriter, performing and recording artist who has performed at many local venues in Southern California
• Monty Seward Composer, producer, audio engineer, vocalist, and keyboard player.

Additional entertainment will be provided by Je’Taime and JQ who will present little known facts about Black History, as well as artistic dancers who will dazzle the audience with their rhythmic dance moves.

Temecula’s own Phil Jackson will be the evening’s emcee. He will also be one of the spoken word performers. ASL Interpretation will be provided by Arianna Jackson.
