Traffic Advisories: I-15 Road Hazards, SIGAlert, Broken Down Semi-Trucks

TEMECULA, CA — Ahead of the busiest travel day of the year, Riverside County roadways were thickening with traffic incidents Tuesday, California Highway Patrol reports.

I-15 Boxes And Bags Blocking Lanes:

About 30 boxes have toppled from the back of a small van on the I-15 northbound, just south of the Overland Bridge, CHP dispatch officers say.

A small white van has pulled over to the side of the road, and may be the box owner. It was not immediately known what was inside the containers, and drivers should be alerted to avoid the fast lane, as the boxes are blocking the #1 lane, according to CHP.

Jurupa Valley SigAlert:

In Jurupa Valley, a SigAlert was announced on the Eastbound State Route 60 to the I-15 Northbound Connector. One lane of traffic was closed as of 11 a.m. due to a disabled semi-truck in the lanes, California Highway Patrol and Caltrans reported.

The #2 lane would be blocked until after noon, as a tow truck capable of moving the semi truck responded to the scene.

I-10 Semi Truck Trouble:

Elsewhere, another semi-truck was stuck in the slow lane on the Westbound I-10 just east of Etiwanda Avenue, according to CHP dispatch operators.

A blue semi truck was halted in the slow lane, according to the report.
