Traffic Halts On Rancho California, Margarita Roads In Temecula
Westbound commuters were slowed at the intersection of Margarita and Rancho California Road on Friday due to a closure.

TEMECULA, CA — Westbound traffic on Rancho California Road at Margarita Road was diverted on Friday due to a water leak at the intersection, Patch has learned.
Rancho Water closed the westbound lanes west of the Margarita and Rancho California intersection to deal with repairs early Friday.
"A water valve was leaking and needed to be replaced," Rancho Water spokesperson Kimy Wall told Patch. "The water work is completed, and workers will be replacing the asphalt soon."

The repairs should be complete and the road reopened around 11:30 a.m., she said.
The stoplight was set to flash, creating a four-way stop for drivers heading in all directions and further slowing progress through that intersection.
