Neighboring Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties also saw slight declines, even as California’s overall unemployment rate ticked up, suggesting the local Tri-Counties economy is faring a bit better than the state average.

Violist Che-Yen Chen and pianist Gilles Vonsattel will perform Beethoven sonatas alongside Schubert and Schumann, with tickets starting around $75 and available directly from Camerata Pacifica.
