• The Boat Shack at Nick's Cove Pier Has Risen From the Ashes (sonomamag.com) — A beloved boathouse on Tomales Bay at Nick’s Cove has been rebuilt after a devastating 2024 fire, restoring a favorite stop for generations of bay visitors, including many from Tomales. The new structure has already hosted Santa for photos, but permitting delays mean locals must wait a bit longer before enjoying drinks and views inside again. Its return helps preserve a cherished piece of West Marin’s maritime character.
