39th Annual St. Anne's Summer Festival to be Held This Weekend
The festival takes place this weekend on Saturday, July 28, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, July 29, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Join the community as they celebrate their 39th annual summer festival.
This year’s festival theme is "Coming Together in Faith and Stewardship” and St. Anne’s parishioners will glorify these words with great food, fun and games for the kids, and non-stop entertainment. This year's event is also a costume party! Organizers ask that attendees come dressed in their favorite costumes.

- Entertainment: The festivities will kick-off with a special anniversary mass Saturday morning at 8 a.m., followed by the sounds of the Bay Area Brass Band, an energetic workout with , a breakdance performance by the 700 Crew and a variety of sounds and sights continuing until the festival shuts down Sunday night at 8 p.m. Stage highlights also include a demonstration from , a performance by Kaleponi Strings, various youth choir performances, cultural dance groups, a hula hoop game and much, much more. - Food: You can get a full taste of Union City's diverse culture, from American BBQ and Mexican cuisine to Portuguese and Filipino fare. Everything will be served up hot and authentic, as food should be.
- Games: Of course, you can’t have a successful festival without games for the kids and St. Anne’s promises to have plenty of fair and fruitful points of amusement for the little ones.
- Raffle: Buy one raffle ticket or 100 - the prizes are great and your odds pretty good. The festival boasts a variety of cool prizes and cash rewards.
