Coots Scoot Around Quarry Lakes: Photos Of The Day

UNION CITY, CA — Quarry Lakes Regional Recreation Area is literally right down the street for some Union City residents, a popular place to walk and get some exercise. Gregory J. Brown snapped these photos of coots last December. He calls the birds "fascinating to watch - like clowns in a circus."
