James Logan Hall of Fame Banquet

James Logan High School's annual Hall of Fame Banquet will be held Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Fremont Marriott Silicon Valley.

Inductees include:

• Marcy Panuco, a softball standout who set a school record for strikeouts and excelled in soccer from 1994 to 1997.
• Jesse Reta, a four-time North Coast Section wrestling champion and 1996 state runner-up.
• Aaron Richberg and Jernae Wright, two track and field state champions who won All-America honors at Auburn University and the University of Florida, respectively.
• The 2004 girls' track and field team, who ranked number 1 in the nation under the guidance of coach Lee Webb.
• Univeristy of Oregon women's golf coach Ria Quiazon Scott, who helped resurrect Logan's golf program in the 1990s due to her impressive skills.
• Former Logan soccer star Angelo Sablo, who scored a school-record of 74 goals in the 1980s.
• Class of 1978 graduate Mickey Sutton, who played in the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams, Buffalo Bills and Green Bay Packers.
• Jim O’Laughlin, a retired teacher, coach, principal and administrator.

Tickets are $55 each, or $500 for a table of 10.

The deadline to order tickets is 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2.
