Fire Destroys Union City Mobile Home

UNION CITY, CA — Two people and their dog were displaced by a mobile home fire on Monday morning in Union City, fire officials said.

There were no injuries in the fire, which was reported about 10:45 a.m. at a mobile home in the first block of Palm Drive in the Tropics Mobile Home Park. Five engines, a truck and other apparatus responded and were on the scene for two hours.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation, Alameda County Fire Department spokesperson Cheryl Hurd said.
