Fireworks Spark Three Fires in Union City
No injuries were reported, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.

The Alameda County Fire Department responded to three one-alarm fires in Union City throughout the Fourth of July evening. All are believed to be fireworks related, officials said.
According to spokeswoman Aisha Knowles, the roof of a home caught on fire a little before 8:30 p.m. on the 32200 block of Allison Drive, near Cabello Street. A tree believed to be on fire from fireworks spread to a shingle on the roof of the home.
Later in the evening, fire crews responded to a structure fire at 2936 Flint St. at about 10:45 p.m. According to Knowles, a firework exploded on a gas main, which caused the fire and damaged a pool shed at an apartment building.
