Get Free Pancakes at IHOP Tuesday

In honor of National Pancake Day, the Union Landing IHOP will serve free pancakes from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Donations will be accepted.

IHOP restaurants around the country will serve free short stacks of pancakes on Tuesday as part of National Pancake Day.

Participating IHOP restaurants will serve the free pancakes from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The will be among those participating in the promotion, an employee said Monday.

Those eating them will be asked to make a voluntary donation to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

The chain began the tradition in 2006, and claims to have raised nearly $8 million to support charities in the communities in which it operates.

Last year, IHOP served an estimated 4 million free pancakes on National Pancake Day, according to restaurant officials.
