- Why Go: Go food tasting, check out arts and craft booths and enjoy live music and fun at the annual Zucchini Festival.
- Pricing: General admission is $6. Kids under 5 get in free.
- Where/When: Paddy’s Coffee House, 3900 Smith St., Union City; Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
- Why Go: Take the kids for a colorful time with local artists between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., then come back in the evening for the opening reception of this group art show.
- Pricing: Free.

- Where/When: Train departs from Niles Depot at 37029 Mission Blvd. in Fremont; Saturday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Why Go: Take a relaxing ride through Niles Canyon while sipping premium Livermore Valley wines paired with hors d'oeuvre.
- Pricing: $37.50 per person (must be 21 and over to attend)
- Where/When: Ardenwood Historic Farm, 34600 Ardenwood Blvd., Fremont; Saturday at 7 p.m.
- Why Go: Watch a free showing of the 2010 movie Yogi Bear. The movie will begin around 8 p.m., but come early to get your seat. Tips: Bring warm clothes, a blanket and a flashlight. No pets.
- Pricing: Free after 7 p.m.
- Where/When: Ruggieri Senior Center, 33997 Alvarado Niles Rd., Union City; Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Why Go: Celebrate the various cultures of Union City’s sister cities, which include Pasay City in the Philippines, Santa Rosalia in Mexico, Jalandhar in India, Chiang Rai in Thailand and Liyang in China. A buffet dinner will also be served.
- Pricing: $12
