- Why Go: Lace up to walk or run for breast cancer or support those who do with this annual 5K/10K event.
- Pricing: Free to attend. $40 to participate.
- Where/When: 5911 Mowry Ave, Newark; Saturday from 2 p.m. to midnight.
- Why Go: Meet up with old friends who were known as the Newark High Knights. Live music and catered BBQ will make for a good time. The event is only open to Newark High alumni, so make sure you check on reservations.
- Pricing: $60 for a ticket.
- Where/When: Hayward Airport, 19990 Skywest Dr, Hayward; Saturday
- Why Go: Take advantage of the opportunity to fly the blue skies above Hayward. The free rides are offered to kids ages 8-17 through the Young Eagles Program. Registration and questions should be called into Pat Polehls at 510-703-1466.
