UNION CITY, CA — The attentive visitor to Quarry Lakes Regional Recreation Area can always spy birds. This Anna's Hummingbird, the most abundant hummingbird on the Pacific Coast, was feeding on nectar from a flower cluster last December when photographed by Gregory J. Brown.
