Is There a Proper Dog-walking Etiquette?
A Patch reader spoke out about an issue all homeowners have faced — dogs doing their business on your lawn. How do you think dog owners should handle this situation?

We’ve all seen it happen. A dog and their owner — walking on the sidewalk, enjoying the fresh air outside…and then it happens. The dog gets in the hunched-back position, and out comes a little present on your freshly cut lawn.
There are some dog owners that would leave that present for the homeowner to deal with, and then there are those that have a plastic bag with them and gladly clean the mess up.
A Patch reader recently posted on our Board that the dog owner cleaned up the dog’s mess, but this wasn’t good enough for the homeowner. http://unioncity.patch.com/groups/opinion/p/dog-walkers
