Is This Offensive?

A Union City Patch reader shopping at the in Union Landing spotted something in aisle 13 that just didn't seem right to her.

Look at the photo above.

"This is rude," the reader said. "Why mix Asian and Middle Eastern food with the pet aisle?"

While I don't usually spew my personal beliefs here, this is a little demeaning. I'm sure there are other items you can toss next to the dog chow. At least Safeway keeps the "ethnic" food in one aisle.
