Minor Injuries Occur in Vehicle Rollover on Cabello Street
Two children were taken to a hospital for what appeared to be minor injuries.
Two juveniles and an adult were taken to a nearby hospital after what appeared to be a minor injury vehicle rollover on Cabello Street.
About 3 p.m. Monday, a vehicle heading southwest on Cabello Street just past Hall Ranch Parkway swerved and struck the rear corner of a parked car. The collision propelled the vehicle “like a ramp” and caused it to roll over, said Union City Police officer Mike Silva.
The driver, a father, had turned his head briefly to speak to his two children in the back seat, Silva said.

According to Silva, both children walked to an ambulance and said they experienced chest and head pain. The father suffered minor lacerations on his arm.
“Usually when there’s a rollover, you expect the worst because you’ve got people rolling around,” Silva said. “We’re fortunate that everyone was belted in and there weren’t any apparent serious injuries.”
