Dubbed “Seamless Summer Feeding,” the service is part of the National School Lunch Program and children in the New Haven district can eat free Monday through Thursday at any of the several participating district sites. There will be no food service on Fridays.

No enrollment is necessary and there are no eligibility requirements, according to Carleen England of the Food Services department.  All children are welcome to drop in and enjoy the complimentary meals on a first come, first served basis, she said.
