Update: Police Ask for Help in Locating Missing Teenager

Michael Santos, 14, was last seen walking to school Wednesday morning.

Police are asking for help in locating a teenage boy who was last seen walking to school on Wednesday morning.

Michael Santos, 14, was last seen by family members when he was leaving his home around 7:50 a.m., according to a Union City Police Department report. He was on his way to James Logan High School.

He is described as a Hispanic male standing 5'2" and weighing 110 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Michael was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, blue "skinny" jeans, green sneakers and a black baseball cap with a white skull. He was carrying a black backpack.

As of 4 p.m. Friday, Michael had not returned home.

However, in a Facebook wall post to a friend around 5 p.m. Friday, Michael wrote: "dude im not coming back i ran away."

According to friends and classmates, he may be staying with friends in an uninhabited home.
