San Francisco Shooting Victim Identified as Union City Man
Stoney Whetstone, 28, of Union City, was shot and killed Sunday while sitting inside of a parked in San Francisco's SOMA district.

A Union City man was shot and killed in San Francisco’s SOMA neighborhood early Sunday morning, according to media reports.
According to the San Francisco Examiner, the victim was identified Tuesday as 28-year-old Stoney Whetstone.
Whetstone and another man were sitting in a parked car on the 700 block of Mission Street at about 2:41 a.m. when an unknown suspect opened fire, reports said.

Whetstone died at the scene.
The other victim was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries but is expected to survive.
