Union City All-You-Can-Eat Crab Feed This Weekend

UNION CITY, CA — Sociedade Divino Esprito Santo Alvarado will host its annual de Alvarado All-You-Can Eat Hot & Cold Crab Feed Saturday, Dec. 3.

The Sociedade do Divino Espirito Santo de Alvarado is an independent Portuguese fraternal society with a long and storied history in the area. Formally organized in April of 1926 with a membership of 40 local Portuguese men, SDES now boasts over 500 members, all who are residents of Union City, Fremont, Newark and many neighboring cities in the Bay Area who share the devotion to the Holy Ghost and the Portuguese culture.

The event, benefitting SDES, will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. at the SDES de Alvarado Cultural Center, 30846 Watkins Street in Union City and will feature all you can eat hot and cold crab plus salad and garlic bread.
