Teen Golfer Tees Up Championship Round

Alyssa Kim of James Logan High School in Union City carded an impressive 66 to become the 2023 NCS Division II Girls Golf Champion.

UNION CITY, CA — A crowded field of more than 100 golfers tried to unseat golf champ Alyssa Kim as she went after the 2023 NCS Division II Girls Golf Championship crown but they were no match for the James Logan High School junior who carded an impressive 66.

Kim defended her title at the Metropolitan Golf Links in Oakland, beating 115 girls from 40 other schools.

She has one more year to bring glory to James Logan.
