This Week: Bike to Work and School, Kollaboration Open Mic, Table Tennis Tournament
See what's happening around town this week.

Here are five things going on this week that you need to know about:
- Pump up those tires and celebrate Bike Month all week long in Union City. On Tuesday, the BikeMobile will hit James Logan High School from 11:20 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. so students can have work done to their bikes and learn about safety and maintenance. On Wednesday, the school will celebrate "Bike to School Day" with a "bike train" forming at Mountain Mike's Pizza at 7:25 a.m. Thursday is "Bike to School and Work Day" with four New Haven schools holding special activities. The City of Union City is also participating in Bike to Work day with the city encouraging all employees to ride their bikes to work.
- Six men are scheduled to appear in court Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Hayward Hall of Justice to enter pleas. One of the six alleged suspects, and is scheduled to enter in a plea in that case as well. Yim's co-defendants in the Eddins case include: Eric Anthony Camacho; Jovencio Luis Camacho, 22; Richard Antonio Corona, 21; Alexis Alfonso Pamiroyan, 22; and Derek Justin Rodriguez, 23.
- Join the organizers of Kollaboration SF, an annual event that promotes young Asian and Pacific Islanders in entertainment and media, as they scour for talent during an open mic this Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Paddy's Coffee House. They encourage all types of performers to showcase their talent at the open mic. During the event organizers will promote their open auditions, which will be held June 2. - Think you've got as much game as Forrest Gump on the ping pong table? Then enter the Union City Sports Center's this Saturday at 8 a.m. Winners will receive a 20-visit table tennis pass at the Sports Center. The registration fee is $5. - It's flea market season in Union City. In addition to the "Flea Market Wars" on Sundays, . The school is encouraging the community to come out to the event, which includes music, face painting and other activities. Vendor spaces are available for $20.
