This Week: Spring Break Camp, Free Job Fairs, Egg Hunt Extravaganza

What's happening around town this week.

Here are five things going on this week that you need to know about:

  • Want your kids to be active this spring break? Sign them up for Spring Break Blast, a weeklong camp at Pacific West Gymnastics from April 2 to 6 and April 9 to 13. During the week, kids can learn gymnastics, create arts and crafts, jump on trampolines and more. Half and full day camps are available for children 3 and older. Children can sign up for one day or the entire week. for prices and more information.
  • Assemblywoman Mary Hayashi’s Office will hold a free job fair this Tuesday. Job seekers are invited to attend from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Chabot Community College, Building 2500. for more information about the event and learn how to register.
  • Alameda County Office of Education will also hold a job fair this week. Individuals seeking a career in education are invited to attend the county-wide job fair that will be held from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 313 W. Winton Ave. in Hayward. for more details on what to bring.
  • Party while you exercise with at 7 p.m. The event will benefit local cancer survivor Letty Najera and will feature guest zumba instructors Hugo Riloz, Carmen Romo and Vicky Villalpondo. Tickets are $15 pre-sale or $20 at the door.
  • Bring the family for a fun-filled morning of egg hunts, a mini carnival, a book fair, pancake breakfast, games and raffle prizes led by Mr. and Mrs. Bunny at this Saturday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Kennedy Community Center.
