This Week: U.S. Treasurer Visits Union City, Cyber Bully Workshop, Doe Eye in Concert
What's happening around town this week
Here are five things going on this week that you need to know about:
- 's FineLite on Tuesday to speak with Bay Area manufacturing executives during a roundtable discussion. Sponsored by the East Bay Economic Development Alliance and East Bay Manufacturing Group, the private event will be held from 4 to 7 p.m.
- will bring in numerous food trucks and live entertainment to the James Logan High School parking lot on Tuesday. The event runs from 4:30 to 9 p.m. and is a fundraiser for the New Haven Teachers Association.
- City leaders of the Tri-Cities will band together Wednesday as part of the LIFE ElderCare 2012 Mayors for Meals Day. Councilwoman Emily Duncan will be among the attendees and will dedicate their morning to delivering meals to seniors throughout Union City, Newark and Fremont. Read about last year's event .
- Concerned parents should register in advance for the New Haven Unified School District's . To be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at district office, the workshop features a guest speaker who will discuss different forms of bullying, its impacts, prevention guidelines and what to do if you discover your child is being bullied.
