Two Arrested in Decoto SWAT Searches
Police arrested a 19-year-old and another teenager after a Wednesday SWAT operation.

Authorities arrested a 19-year-old Union City man and another teenager following , police said.
Edgar Ramon Godinez was arrested on suspicion of possessing an altered weapon — a short-barrel shotgun — and committing a felony while on bail, said Lt. Ben Horner of the Union City Police Department.
The arrests were part of a follow-up investigation to .

Police believe Godinez was a "significant" participant in that event, Horner said.
Godinez was previously arrested last month on suspicion of burglary during , according to Horner.

Authorities will move forward with a civil eviction action, Horner said.
"That will be a consequence that will affect his family," he said.
The teenage boy, who was also arrested Wednesday, is not being named because he is a minor. The charges against him were not disclosed, but Horner said authorities will pursue civil remedies that may hold his parents liable for his actions.
Starting at 7 a.m. Wednesday, SWAT officers from Union City, with assistance from the major crimes task force, CHP and Fremont and Newark police, served search and arrest warrants at two homes on the 700 block of E Street and the 33500 block of Seventh Street, the latter of which is where Godinez was previously arrested July 1.
Godinez is currently being held on $70,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned 2 p.m. Friday at the Fremont Hall of Justice, according to online records.
