UCPD Summer Sandlot Program A Huge Success
This was the first year for the program, which cost just $5 for the whole summer.

UNION CITY, CA — Union City kids between the ages of 5 and 12 years old had a fun new activity available this summer — a Summer Sandlot Baseball Program that was a collaboration between UCPD, Union City Community & Recreation Services, Youth and Family Services and local volunteers.
Games were played every Wednesday from June 2 through August 2 at Town Estates Park.
It wrapped up with an end-of-season barbecue, hosted by UCPD and the Alameda County Fire Department.
