Union City Congressman Eric Swalwell Welcomes New Baby
The three Swalwell siblings now outnumber their parents and can "form a governing coalition for the household," the congressman joked.

UNION CITY, CA — U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Union City), who represents the East Bay, and his wife, Brittany Watts Swalwell, welcomed their third child this week.
Harold "Hank" Warren Swalwell was born around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, the congressman said in a statement. The youngest Swalwell came in at 7 pounds, 8 ounces and 20.5 inches tall.
Hank and Brittany Swalwell are healthy, the congressman said on Twitter.

"He joins a big, busy family — but from his steely gaze, he seems ready," Eric Swalwell said.
Hank joins siblings Nelson Swalwell, born in 2017, and Kathryn "Cricket" Swalwell, born in 2018.

"Nelson and Cricket are eager to welcome baby brother and outnumber Mom & Dad to form a governing coalition for the household," Swalwell said.
The couple was married in 2016 at Oakland's Rene C. Davidson Courthouse, according to a New York Times wedding announcement. They held their reception in Livermore, Roll Call reported.
They met about a year prior to their wedding through mutual friends — a couple whom Eric Swalwell set up 12 years prior, Roll Call reported.
Eric Swallwell's district includes all or part of the following communities: San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, Hayward, Union City, Fremont, Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, San Leandro, Danville, Cherryland, Ashland, Sunol and Fairview.
