Union City Offers Holiday Lights Tour

UNION CITY, CA — It may be dark extra early, but Union City is all lit up at night.

The city is in the middle of its third annual “Best Home for the Holidays” lights competition to find the most “lit” home in Union City. Homes are currently being judged, and the winner will be announced soon.

In the meantime, the city is offering a tour of some of the best-lit streets on its Facebook page. The suggested driving tour starts at the Civic Center, then wends through Royal Ann Drive, then 9th Street, Palmetto Drive, Ithaca Street, Becket Drive, Valiant Way, Meridien Circle, Ruth Way, Goshen Street, San Luis Court, and ends at Santa Maria Drive.Do you have a better route or a street they forgot?
