Union City Police Officers Honored For Saving 3 Lives

The detective, sergeant and officers received awards at this week's city council meeting.

UNION CITY, CA — Five members of the Union City Police Department saved the lives of three people who were suffering from drug overdoses. The officers, sergeant and detective risked fentanyl exposure to perform lifesaving measures on the victims.

For their heroics, each received UCPD's Lifesaving Award at Tuesday's city council meeting.
