Vote for Local Artist to Open at Bay Area Rock Festival
Union City singer-songwriter Doe Eye is among the top 15 finalists in a Live105 contest. The winner will open up at their Not So Silent Night 2011 music festival.
Local musician , is continuing to turn heads with her unique brand of hauntingly beautiful indie-rock.
Already receiving airplay on leading Bay Area rock station Live105, Qudus is now among the top 15 finalists in an online contest to choose an opener for the station's annual Not So Silent Night music festival.
The Dec. 9 concert will be held at the Oracle Arena in Oakland and will feature artists such as Jane's Addiction, Mumford and Sons, Florence + The Machine, Bush and Young the Giant.

According to the Live105 website, the station's music committee recieved 117 music demos before narrowing the list to the final 15.
