An Alameda County hazardous materials unit evacuated about 10 employees of a wholesale food processing facility in Union City this evening, a fire battalion chief said.
The crew responded to the La Terra Fina, located at 1300 Atlantic St., at around 7:30 p.m. and found a refrigerant leak, fire Battalion Chief Tony Connell said.

Connell said the leak was "fairly benign" and was contained to the
facility.
No injuries were reported.
