• Two longterm VPD employees retire (thereporter.com) — Two longtime Vacaville Police Department fixtures, Communications Supervisor Andrea Delross-McPherson and Officer Erwin Ramirez, have retired after more than two decades each serving the community. Colleagues from Vacaville police and fire honored their careers with final radio calls, highlighting Delross-McPherson’s leadership in dispatcher training and Ramirez’s work in the Special Victims Unit and as a mentor to new officers.
