Fly Without Limits, a global social impact foundation created by Paralympic gold medalist Matt Scott, will host its first-ever 3v3 wheelchair basketball tournament at the iconic Venice Beach courts this weekend.

Supported by presenting sponsor Google Pixel, the inaugural tournament will tip off on Saturday, May 11 at 10:00 AM, and feature 60 men and women para-athletes who will be split into 20 teams of three. Four of those athletes – including Brian Bell, Steve Serio, Jake Williams, and Ixelt Gonzalez – will also be representing Team USA at the Paralympic Games in Paris this summer.

The competing teams will be playing for a $15,000 grand prize.

"At Fly Without Limits, we’re deeply committed to breaking down the barriers that prevent people with disabilities from achieving their goals and dreams," said Scott, a five-time Paralympian and three-time medalist. "We're thrilled to be bringing this groundbreaking event to the Venice Beach courts. This tournament is more than just about sports; it's about breaking barriers and showcasing the power of inclusivity."

In addition to fostering competition and community, the tournament is also about integrating different aspects of basketball culture. In doing so, Fly Without Limits has partnered with the legendary Hoop Bus to elevate the streetball element of the tournament.
