Couple Shot And Killed In Venice Home

VENICE, CA — A couple was shot and killed at a Venice home last week, according to media reports.

They were fatally shot sometime overnight between Thursday and Friday at their home on Berkeley Drive, just blocks from Marina del Rey, NBC reports.

Neighbors say they didn't hear anything and investigators are hoping that surveillance video in the area could give more information about what happened.

Brandon Neal, one of the victims, lived at the location and was planning to move out of the home he was renting and had been struggling with drug and health problems, Brad Neal, his father, told NBC4. The other victim's name was not immediately released.

Authorities say that the attack was not random. The investigation is ongoing.
