First Friday Returns To Venice After 2-Year Hiatus

For the first time in two years, stroll Abbot Kinney Boulevard for an array of 15 delicious food trucks.

VENICE, CA — The wait is over, Venice: after a two-year hiatus, First Friday is back on Venice Boulevard. On Friday from 5 to 9:30 p.m., 15 food trucks are camping out in downtown Venice, offering everything from churros to cheesesteaks to rice balls.

Two food trucks are offering lunch from 12-3.

“We’ve all been through a lot and we are so excited to take this step back to normal - or the new normal. Either way, we hope it’s the beginning of many more fun nights and delicious meals on Abbot Kinney,” the Abbot Kinney Boulevard Merchant Association said on its website. “We have a great lineup of food trucks for you - lots of your old favorites and a few new ones we hope you’ll love too. “While you’re here, be sure to stroll the Blvd and check out all the new businesses that have joined us since our last First Friday. As always, you’ll find an eclectic array of cool stuff and tasty food!”
