LAPD Adding More Than 30 New Officers To Westside

Los Angeles police are responding to increased crime on the Westside and adding more than 30 new officers.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Los Angeles police are responding to increased crime on the Westside and adding more than 30 new officers to patrol the area, Yo!Venice reports.

At least 20 officers will be added to the Venice Beach boardwalk and patrol that area.

More officers will respond to emergency calls and will undergo training in April. They plan to begin working and patrolling in May.
