Letter to the Editor: Walgrove School RFP Postponed
The anticipated Request for Proposal for a long-term lease for a charter school to co-locate alongside Walgrove Elementary has been pushed back to Sept. 20.

The following letter was sent by Claudia Vizcarra, policy director for LAUSD Board Member Steve Zimmer.
Due to unforeseen delays, the RFP is anticipated to be issued on Tuesday, Sept. 20. Staff from various offices, including the Innovation and Charter Schools, Contracts, Legal Counsel, and Planning and Development, have been working diligently to prepare a comprehensive Request for Proposals for this innovative model for charter development.
The RFP will be posted on the Facilities Service Division website. Click on the heading "See the RFP/RFQ Listings."
You can register to receive a notification of the posting by creating an account here. Once you've registered, you will be directed to select specific categories for notification. Select "Charter Schools." Once the RFP has been posted, you will be notified within minutes of the posting and can log on to download the RFP and any related documents.
