Mar Vista Community Council Seats New Board Members

The Mar Vista Community Council seated its new board on Tuesday night at the Mar Vista Recreation Center, and also bade farewell to outgoing board members.

11^th District Councilman Bill Rosendahl attended to hand out certificates of recognition to outgoing board members. The evening was also an opportunity for the community to meet with Rosendahl and share their good wishes for him in his as he continues his battle with cancer. Rosendahl will not seek re-election in March 2013, and has endorsed Mike Bonin to replace him.

Rosendahl shared stories about each of the retiring board members and Geoffrey Forgione accept his while holding his baby daughter. He introduced his daughter to Rosendahl saying she was the councilman’s youngest constituent.

The new board members who won seats in the Oct. 28 elections are:

After the new board members were sworn in hey assembled for a photograph with Rosendahl, which was followed by the election of officers.
