Open Neighborhoods and LA Beyond Coal to Host Westside Solar Tour
The two organizations are joining forces to host an educational tour of solar-powered homes and businesses on the Westside on Sat. Oct. 1.

Open Neighborhoods – run by Mar Vistans James Brennan and John Ayers – together with the Sierra Club’s LA Beyond Coal Campaign, will co-host the Westside Solar tour on Sat. Oct. 1.
The tour will combine guided and self-guided tours of homes, businesses and public buildings where attendees can learn about solar initiatives, how to utilize energy efficient practices and help reduce those expensive utility bills.
Among the homes and businesses on the tour are The Sidewalk Café, The Brig and The Electric Lodge in Venice, and the Oasis Healing Center in Mar Vista.
