Overturned Car Traps Driver Inside In Mar Vista Crash

The force of the two-car collision caused one car to flip over and trap the driver inside Tuesday morning, LAFD said.

MAR VISTA, CA — The Los Angeles Fire Department extricated a driver who was stuck in an overturned car near Mar Vista Tuesday morning.

According to LAFD, a two-car collision happened at about at about 10: 11 a.m. in the Palms area at 11200 W. Venice Boulevard. The force of the crash caused one of the cars to flip, authorities said.

Firefighters conducted an auto extrication operation to safely remove the driver from the overturned vehicle. Paramedics continued to assess the damage and said they would provide transport to a hospital as required.
