Planned for the Pachamama Venice Beach Aug. 12 grand-opening fest is the ribbon cutting at 11 a.m., followed by Travis Wolf of Bee Leaf USA, a honeybee rescue, who will be bringing a live hive, complimentary honey lollipops and honey samples.
A portion of proceeds from the day will go to Venice-founded Kiss the Ground, an organization devoted to regenerative agriculture, the company said.
The first 50 guests can score the eatery's vegan tacos served in a crispy, green corn tortilla with organic greens, cherry tomatoes, Peruvian salsa criolla, aguacate, Amarillo sauce and black beans. Small bites of anticuchos will be passed for menu-sampling.
Pachamama, at 1425 Ocean Front Walk, is open Mondays through Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Follow the eatery here on Facebook or here on Instagram.
