Palms Shooting: Victim Found Shot 'In The Middle Of The Street'
One person was shot multiple times in Palms Thursday afternoon, Los Angeles police said.
PALMS, CA — Los Angeles police found a person suffering from gunshot wounds "in the middle of the street" in Palms Thursday afternoon.
Los Angeles Police Department officers were dispatched to the area of Venice Boulevard and Hughes Avenue about 2:20 p.m. on a report of four shots fired and a person lying in the street, according to the LAPD.
The unidentified victim went to a hospital in Westwood, but it was not immediately clear how he got there, as the Los Angeles Fire Department did not provide transportation, according to the LAPD, which also had no information on his condition.

The suspect fled the scene possibly on a scooter, according to police.
Police urged drivers and pedestrians to avoid the area while investigators comb through the crime scene.
