Police Seize 75 lbs. Of Marijuana, AR-15, Pistols & $10K In Cash
Los Angeles Police detectives seized 75 lbs. of marijuana, an AR-15, two pistols and $10,000 following a shooting investigation at a hotel.

VENICE, CA — Detectives discovered 75 lbs. of marijuana, along with an AR-15, two pistols and $10,000 in cash following a hotel shooting investigation Monday, according to Los Angeles Police Department Pacific Division.
Officers investigating the incident later found the suspects in a vehicle with the marijuana, weapons and cash, police said. Three suspects were arrested on suspicion of armed robbery and two were arrested on suspicion of marijuana for sale.
Jayvion Mitchell, 20, Drapper Anthony, 23, and Damone Simon, 22, were each booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Each suspect was held at $155,000 bail. Their housing location was not released to the public.

The arrest location and time were not immediately released. Police tell Patch this is an ongoing investigation.
All five people arrested were visitors from out of state, according to investigators from the Los Angeles Police Department Pacific Division. The other two suspect names were not immediately released.

Detectives shared that information with Pacific Patrol officers who located the vehicle later that evening. The patrol officers took all three-armed suspects into custody without incident. An AR 15, and two pistols were recovered from the car along with $10,000 in cash. https://t.co/Ysr4e0NYOP
